The Faculty of Mass Communication, Chiang Mai University (CMU) led by research administration unit and international relations unit, organized the “Democratic Dialogues and Open Society Publication Workshop” to enhance faculty members’ analytical and academic writing skills. The workshop, which held on March 24–25, 2025, at Room MCB2306, Faculty of Mass Communication, Chiang Mai University, focused on democracy-related topics, which play a crucial role in fostering a knowledge-based society, and provided participants with in-depth training from international experts.
The workshop featured Professor Chosein Yamahata and Associate Professor Makiko Takeda from Aichi Gakuin University, Japan, as distinguished guest speakers. They provided valuable guidance and training to help participants create high-quality research articles for international publication.

Beyond improving academic writing skills, the workshop encouraged new ways of thinking and innovative research approaches that could create a positive impact on society. This initiative highlights CMU’s dedication to supporting high-quality research and strengthening international academic partnerships.
